2 folds, Hero raises to $0.35, SB calls $0.30, 1 fold

      River: ($3.22) 4 :club: (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

I don't really know why I 2nd barreled here. Since I can still be ahead of worse Ax hands or other random overcards and since no better hands are folding here really, I shouldn't be betting the turn. Villain is even passive so I don't have to worry that much about him bluffing me on the river.

But the questions that I wanted to ask:
      1) If I had a small pocket pair, this would be a 2nd barrel, since I have to protect our hand, right?
      2) If I had weaker overcards, would I have to bet again on the turn? Since villain can often float this flop and I can try and get him off Ax or other random overcards?

      Hi,

Against 50 VPIP player I would only bet for value. So answer to your questions:

      1) If I had a small pocket pair, this would be a 2nd barrel, since I have to protect our hand, right?
      - I think b/f turn half pot bet and then check back river would be a little better than checking back turn and calling any river

      2) If I had weaker overcards, would I have to bet again on the turn? Since villain can often float this flop and I can try and get him off Ax or other random overcards?
      - you´re risking too much and if he decided that his Ax is good he may easily c/c turn again. I would prefer just give up if I don´t have there anything

      best regards,

Does it mean that you wouldn't cBet the flop either? We can still get calls from worse Ax or random overcards on the flop. Thin value, so to say.

I would c-bet 100% of my range, since he can have random cards that he is going to c/f and with Ax we likely have anyway the best hand

      best regards,
