Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BB with 7 :diamond: 7 :club:
1 fold, CO raises to $0.07, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.05

      Flop: ($0.15) 8 :club: 6 :spade: T :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.10

      Turn: ($0.35) 3  (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.25, Hero folds

Villain was nearly unknown when this happened. I dunno whether I have the implied odds to call, or the folding equity to 3bluff. What can I do against unknown in this spot?

      Hello Imimba1,

Seems to be fine, we might even be ahead on the flop but usually not against 2nd barreling. Nice hand!

      Best Regards.

Against unknown we shouldnt 3bet here preflop right? We need a decent sample size to know his ATS, Fold to 3bet, etc. values.

I mean, my real question: Against unknown we shouldnt make any "fancy" moves, right? Until someone is unknown, just simple ABC. We start out very casually, and then start playing exploivively, like 3betting here with 77.

What are your thoughts Veriz? :)

Don't really see any problem with calling it preflop. We are getting decent odds why not to use them then? :)

And yes, I would rather advice you to kick out fancy moves from your play, cause I have only seen bad result with them. :f_frown:
