      BB checks, Hero checks

      Final Board: 2 9 K 4 2
BB showed A T and lost (-$7 net)
      Hero showed 9 Q and won $13.54 ($6.54 net)

I think this is a good hand to check back flop vs unknown regular player with the intention of calling 2 barrels since we don't accomplish much by cbetting and we have our bdfd which can give us some more equity.

First preflop isn't it a bit loose to open Q9s from MP?

I understand your worries about cbetting the flop but then try to ask yourself the other question - which hands I'm not cbetting in this spot? This is a board that we are going to cbet a lot and against a good enough opponent we should never call two streets because we are never good or start checking back hands like good kings for value.

      Hello DeMarcohsp,

I'd tend to CB the flop vs unknown and not even knowing the guy against we are. We have a lot of cards which improve our range and we could 2nd barreling and not to talk about that we could even CB it for value.

The problem here is that you are putting yourself exactly into a spot where you just don't know where you stand or either you are ahead there, he could easily have the Kx hand there. :)

      Best Regards.
