      villain is 32/14/4.5 over 514 hands.

      my plan on the flop was to float, since it is so dry and he is unlikely to have hit it. when the board tripped ott i decided against betting because i thought he might call now if he has a small pocket pair, whereas if it was another card then he might not have continued with something like 22-66. should i have just jammed the river?

      I wouldn't jam it, he wouldn't call it without A. And if he had A, you would split the pot and pay more rake there. That's what I think.

      yeah one of the only reasons why i didn't jam was cos of rake :f_biggrin: he actually called me with a flush :f_thumbsup: that was.. interesting.

      Hello DrDunne,

      Shoving the river wouldn't achieve anything, he rarely calls you with a lot worse. Therefore instead go for a value-bet near the pot or something similar. If we of course assume him being bad enough then we could threw an over-bet.
