Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with K :club: A
UTG raises to $0.30, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.20

      Flop: ($0.65) 5 :diamond: J :club: T :club: (2 players)
      Hero checks, UTG checks

      Turn: ($0.65) 9 :spade: (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.50, UTG folds

It would appear that UTG fold to 3Bets rather often. Given the fact that villain is raising from UTG and that this is a BBvsUTG situation, in which we generally don't usually see 3Betting with light ranges, I thought that flatcalling is the best option in order not to isolate myself against a stronger range.

Can a call here be profitable if we are not playing back on any flops? Or do we sometimes have to try, for example, an OOP float if we really want to play this hand passively preflop?

Because if I have to play back for the call to be profitable I am much better off just 3Bet/folding preflop since I can't really differentiate between the best spots/lines for trying fancy moves.

      Hello Avatars91,

Well, we can't 3bet it anyways for value most likely. :D So calling is totally fine, although I wouldn't take such a huge stab on the turn but rather smaller. Doubt that we are making a lot better hands to fold.

      Best Regards.
