Pacific, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players

      MP1: $0.27 (13.5 bb)
      MP2: $3.88 (194 bb)
      MP3: $1.53 (76.5 bb)
      CO: $2.92 (146 bb)
      BTN: $1.74 (87 bb)
      Hero (SB): $2.59 (129.5 bb)
      BB: $3.45 (172.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T:club: T:heart:
      MP1 folds, MP2 raises to $0.07, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.06, BB calls $0.05

      Flop: ($0.21) T:diamond: 7:diamond: Q:heart: (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 bets $0.15, Hero raises to $0.50, BB folds, MP2 calls $0.35

      Turn: ($1.21) 6:spade: (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.90, MP2 folds

The villain was kind of fishy with 43/19
he had 100% CB and 75% fold to CB so checking to him made sense, and i raised to get me some money :f_cool:

But after i bet the turn he folded and commented: "it felt like a set"
So obviously even NL2 players can figure that one out. I have had bad experience with this line before, the line is just very scary for opponents.

So then the question is, how should we get value? Maybe check/call the turn and bet the river, or if he checks behind we also bet the river.
What kind of factors do we have to consider when figuring out how to make most value?

      Hello Musematte,

You can't Check/call the turn, we need to protect! So standard Bet there, and what you could do is to Check/Raise pot size.

Unfortunately you can't read the article about pot size size how much to raise and etc. :( Otherwise I would link it to ya.

      Best Regards.

I think i have read something about this before. The point is to give villain 2:1 odds right?

So we have to bet 0.66$ so that the pot is 1.02$ and he must call 0.51$
giving him exactly 2:1 odds and he must have a serious amount of outs for that to be a good call :f_cool:

But why so much? I think i am giving him bad enough odds allready and we want people to call us aswell :f_confused:

Cause it's super drawy and we want more value from his draws, so simple is poker. ;) And by the way we ain't betting but we are raising.
