Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with K  Q :spade:
2 folds, BTN calls $0.10, SB raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $1.30, 1 fold, SB calls $0.90

      Flop: ($2.70) 8  4  J :diamond: (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($2.70) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
SB bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30

      River: ($3.30) 5 :spade: (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

I am not sure this 3Bet is good. Villain has so far reacted to 3Bets passively and even called once OOP, but that is no indicator that villain can call here with worse preflop. Therefore, I don't like the 3Bet.

As played though: I think I just have to Cbet this flop since I have a couple of backdoors + I have to get rid of Ax hands. I am a bit worried about villain's fold to cBet stat but I doubt he's calling with Ax here.

      Hello Avatars91,

Preflop: You most likely can't 3bet it for value even here. Plus the guy doesn't fold to 3bets at all, not a huge fan of it.

      As played
Postflop: Rather CB the flop whilst also being IP, you also have some backdoors + maybe even fold equity.

      Best Regards.

If we had AK with a heart, would a Cbet then be good or bad? Because villain is not folding better hands and we can likely get to showdown for free anyway, maybe then a check behind is actually possible, unless we have a reason to believe that villain can bluff even in 3Bet pots.

Well, if I said that KQ could even be a CB in such a situation as long we 3bet there, why wouldn't AK be? :)

I just figured that this situation is similar to this one:
      NL10: AK 3Bet + cBet

How do these situations differ? Why would AK be a good cBet on this board?

It's whole different scenario, you are there vs assumed nit and of course it's more likely that the guy will have a strong hand there than here.
