Pre-Flop: your raise size is OK. you have one guy calling but you have position.

Flop: with Ace on the flop AND dry board, C-bet. You still want to give him image of a strong character here.

Turn: If you would have betted, I will continue C-bet

River: If you would have betted, I will continue C-bet

I think it's a standard, bet, bet, bet situation here.

He would have called anyways, if he was betting all the way to the River like this.

I don't think slow playing on the flop was a good idea IMO.

      Hello Imimba1,

As long the MP is rather fishy you could easily even CB the flop for value, he could easily have worse Ax hands there also in his range and of course even GS/Kx hands which pay you.

But as played not much to comment.

      Best Regards.

We can't be sure whether he's a fish or not. Or limping/calling 2 more times as raising preflop is an obvious fish-trait on a 6max table?

I think the check on the flop is just brilliant. I think he would have folded to a CB, but invest on 2 more streets with a pair if checked. Or I'm just too result-orientated.

But then what if he hits a stronger hand than yours on these two streets, then you will loose money, either if you have to fold, or because you call.
Don't give villain a chance to improve what they have.
Thats just how I think about it :)

Playing 21/7 does already tell us that he isn't really good player. :)
