Not sure if this donkbet is good. I though it makes sense to protect my hand but is it really strong enough? Difficult to say also what villain does postflop if I check, since we don't really know that much about him. According to equilator I ought to be ahead on this board against his potential preflop openraising range. I am getting called, however, by most bigger pairs + FDs, from which the majority, if not all have overcards and thus are even ahead of me. So not really sure about this.

      Hello Avatars91,

If the guy CBs that much why not let him CB with his whole range? We are getting more value with that play, so Check/Call the flop instead.

      Best Regards.

Can we assume that villain won't force us out of the hand on further streets? We still know very little about him. Although I would imagine that check/folding, although not wrong, is a bit weak.

Because what I am afraid of is check/calling flop, checking turn, and check/folding river. Or even facing a 2nd barrel on turn. Difficult to continue.

Well, your donking doesn't make sense either. You ain't going to get called from a lot worse but meanwhile he could easily just raise your donk and you are forced to fold. :)
