There were a LOT of wild players on Full Tilt before Black Friday.

When will it the US Players be back?
About 3 months after the US Federal Govt figures out how to extract $$$ from the game w/o killing it.

There ARE companies in the US providing poker to US players.
The companies take money from the players.
      The players make money.

All the chips are play money. Thus they are not gambling for "real money"
The companies charge for the chips. You get free chips, and can win more, or you can buy them.
Players "win prizes" of various sorts. The odds of winning a prize are ridiculously bad.
      Some sites charge subscription fees.
Any of the sites I have visited have been flooded with ads - again providing revenue to the site, but not to the players.

Since I live in Canada, I got several invitations from these sites, but even a losing real-money player would lose less than the cost of playing these sites.

US players are being supremely screwed by their own government. It is a real shame. There are associations of US players that are lobbying to get the rules changed, and it appears to be happening slowly.
