      1) Do you also prefer to cold call here unless you know that villain goes broke light or calls loose OOP?
      2) Would you agree that the river bet should have been smaller since villain likely has a bluffcatcher?

      Hi,

      1) Do you also prefer to cold call here unless you know that villain goes broke light or calls loose OOP?
      - no. My 3-bet range on the BU is very wide and that is how I make most of the money. Since I 3-bet a lot marginal hands I need to include also 66+, AT+, KQ to my 3-bet range to balance out that range. Even if he would fold this times hands like 88/77 I think he would very likely either play back or call with wider range if it is again co vs bu 3-bet

      2) Would you agree that the river bet should have been smaller since villain likely has a bluffcatcher?
      - I think he would mostly going either to c/c or c/f. It doesn´t change that much unless you are not potting or overbetting river. If you want to get called always 77-TT then you should bet 1-1.5$- but very likely 22/19 might find there call anyways his medium pp-s even if you make it bigger

      best regards,

      Hello Avatars91,

Preflop: You obviously don't need to balance on NL10. :) So I don't really see any reason why calling is bad here, we can easily play the hand well postflop whilst even having a called pot. If we 3bet here then we are turning our hand into bluff cause we can't continue vs his 4bet, nor we of course don't know how much worse hands the guy calls vs us.

      As played
Postflop: I'd rather raise the flop right away whilst we could represent a lot of draws here and the guy might even be willing to pay with overpairs. If he doesn't have a hand he wont pay you much either. And river bet size is pretty standard, if he calls you then he calls also this amount, although myself I'd do something like $2.

      Best Regards.
