      $0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

      Known players:

      BU = ($5.41)
      SB = ($5.02)
      BB (Hero) = ($3.98)
      MP3 = ($4.33)
      CO = ($5.07)

      Preflop: Hero is BB with 8 :diamond: , 8 :heart: .
      2 folds, BU raises to $0.15, SB raises to $0.50, Hero calls $0.45, BU calls $0.35.

      Flop: ($1.5) 8 :heart: , 7 :heart: 3 :diamond: (3 players)
      SB bets $1.00, Hero raises to $2.00, BU folds, SB raises to $4.52, Hero calls $1.48(All-In).

      Turn: ($9.5) 3 :heart: (2 players)

      River: ($9.5) J :diamond: (2 players)

      Final Pot: $9.5.

      Results follow:

      SB shows two pairs, tens and threes(T :spade: T :diamond:) .
      Hero shows a full-house, eights full of threes(8 :diamond: 8 :heart:) .

      Hero wins with a full-house, eights full of threes(8 :diamond: 8 :heart:) .

      Im thinking now I should have folded to the 3 bet preflop as his 3 bet range from the sb must be at least 10's+ but of course i call and... well the rest of the hand speaks for itself

      what do you think?

      Hello Maloco87,

      Preflop: Easy fold?

      As played
      Postflop: Well yeah, tough to even comment that part, whatever you do I'd say is not wrong as you hit your set.

      Best Regards.

      Veriz,

      What range of PP you call to a 3-bet pré-flop at NL2- NL10?

      Easy fold for everyone. Why would you ever consider calling with 88 here? :( It's really horrible hand and you don't get set mining odds either.

      Those PPs which are rather stronger and maybe even play postflop as overpair, though 88 of course doesn't and at the best we beat some overcard type of hand. Plus we have also BU to stack, which means actually a lot of weaker ones we even prefer to fold instead, so at the best JJ+ if we think SB is 3betting light.
