OTT, i didnt think i could get more than 2 streets of value, and if i bet the turn then check the river draws might call then bluff me OTR when i c/c and i dont wanna c/c.

However, if i check the turn i think hes checking almost all his draws and worse made hands behind so if he bets i have a fairly easily c/f IMO.

OTR, i was sure how often he would bluff missed draws when checked to but there was a lot of worse made hand he was gunna call me off so i went for a thin value bet but made it half pot to look bluffy

      Hey,

Out of position isolating yourself with a hand that flops terribly except flushdraws is a recipe for disaster in most cases. Here you play against a calling station which makes manoeuvring very hard for obvious reasons.

The Flop I would not even start betting as you want to have a 1 1/2 streets of value and betting the Turn & River is so much better as he will think that his Jack is good as soon as you check the Flop

River as played is not what I would have done, I would have bet either supersmall to get a call from Jx so like a quarter or just check/fold

you said yourself gerv hes a CS, if hes calling the flop with Jx hes not gunna fold to a 90cent bet but call a 60cent bet, on a blank river, it wouldnt make sense

The way you played it decreases the amount of Jx, I still would be betting smaller than half pot for sure. Look at all the draws that have completed from the Turn onwards
