      Hey veriz,

      Villain:
      19/17/83h solid player.
      Call open 1/23. So almost never.

      Flop
      With the given info I think it's a mistake to check here. His range is weighted towards PP's which will all fold on this flop vs my CB.

      As played: I think neither check/raising nor check/folding isn't bad. Well I mean, I only realised after my check that his range will be mostly PP's so with this info + the fact that he bets really small the check/raise can't be that bad. Obv we don't play any hand for value like that but he can't know it and it's hard to play back with just 88 for example. Check/folding is safe offcourse.

      Hello Farmarchist,

      Don't really like it nor I don't really understand why do you even Check/Raise such a board? What are you representing with it whilst his calling range hardly hits such a board, Check/Fold it. ;)

      Best Regards.

      Then what do you think his range is?

      I think his range is:
      22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, TT, JJ and maybe some QQ. Those PP's.
      SC's -> TJs, QJs, KQs,
      And then also AJ/AQ

      Our CB needs to work only 40% of the time if we bet 60% pot. And 22-TT is already much more than 40% of his range.

      So just direct +ev?

      Why would you skip all the broadways here? Just cause you don't call them doesn't mean others don't do that. For example I'd call with very wide broadway range there if I have good reason to do that.

      And I'd like to hear from you, how do you come to 40% here, disagree on that. So not really +EV. :P Rather I'd say clearly that you wont have profit from such moves.
