Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with Q :spade: Q
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 1 fold, BB calls $0.20

      Flop: ($0.65) K :spade: A :diamond: 3 :club: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($0.65) 8 :club: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($0.65) 2 :spade: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

Sort of basic, I suppose. Posted this in case you can notice any thin value spots for example on the river. I think that checking it down is fine anyway. A river bet may be too thin.

If I check the flop here, do I have to call the turn very often? Villain could still be bluffing but it looks like a marginal call since there are many Ax and Kx hands in his range.

      Hello Avatars91,

Seems to be fine, not many worse hands pay you anyways there. Well played!

      Best Regards.

You could make a cbet there on the flop, though. You can make your opponent to fold those TT, KQ, KJ. You also avoid getting a bluff on turn, if all is good.

Just checking 3 streets without the nuts makes your play very readable.

Rather just giving it up unless it's a weak Bet. Doubt that we going to see many stabs there.

Basically here we check our QQ here because we can often hope to check it down and there is not really much to protect from anyway, whereas if we had 77 we are better off cBetting because we have to protect our hand from overcards + it is not really that great to check it down since villain can often just catch overcards?

      Is that correct?

Something similar but still we can even Check behind some weaker showdown hands depends on the opponent, it's always dependent on the opponent we are against. Vs some it has more reasonable spot to even CB just cause maybe he even folds better PPs/Kx hands.
