      BTN: $8.55 - VPIP: 29, PFR: 15, 3B: 9, AF: 4,7, Hands: 73
      SB: $8.15 - VPIP: 50, PFR: 28, 3B: 20, AF: 3,0, Hands: 18
      Hero (BB): $10.00 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 15, 3B: 6, AF: 4,7, Hands: 27584

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with A :spade: J :spade:
2 folds, SB raises to $0.20, Hero raises to $0.85, SB calls $0.65

      Flop: ($1.70) 8 :spade: A :diamond: 5  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.30, SB raises to $2.60, Hero raises to $9.15, SB calls $4.70 all in

      Turn: ($16.30) 9 :diamond: (2 players - 1 is all in)

      River: ($16.30) 7 :diamond: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Not sure if this is not too dangerous vs a somewhat unknown guy that we only assume to be a loose and a bad player. But then again – what else can I do vs this opponent? He is not fullstacked and his stats indicate that he is most likely not all that great a player.

Don't rely 2 much on those stats with only 18 hands. Of course, if he plays 50 % of those hands, there could be even some worse Ax hands. So going broke isn't that bad, but I'd prefer going broke w AQ+ there.

Pre-flop ISO is good, you're OOP so making it that big against a fish isn't wrong.

We are actually IP! Lol. But yeah, it could have been just slightly smaller.

      Hello Avatars91,

Though I am not a huge fan of getting it in here. It's also somewhat a 3bet pot and I don't see there being tons of worse hands which would raise you like that. He most likely also rather calls with just Ax hand rather than raises + there ain't many draws in his range. Though it's not going to be a huge mistake in overall, especially if we also assumed that he is capable of overplaying TP this way.

      Best Regards.

What alternatives do I have? Can I fold to his check/raise if I suspect that most of the times he is going to have a better hand there?

Yes, you can, if you really do think, that he has better hand there. That's good to remember there.

Why not? :) We haven't even invested tons of money, so we can still easily fold and wait for better spot or at least get more information from him.
