I think that my play shouldn't be the worst one possible. Villain can still be going broke with 99–JJ here and KK/AA is not all that likely + I have to protect vs FDs and overcards.

He seems to be very aggressive player, and might be overplaying his hands like 99, TT, AJs+, so going broke here can't be too bad. I'm quite sure that he could raise your cbet on that board w those hands, even w 55-77

      Hello Avatars91,

Pretty standard, he can't represent that much with the raise there. Nice hand!

      Best Regards.

Would you still go broke with a weaker overpair, e.g. JJ, TT, without any specific reads/information?

Then it becomes more difficult, you have on him 89 hands so you can't really say totally unknown. Then it goes into a spot where we have beat very narrow range, which actually means we might even weaker PPs rather avoid going broke directly. He rather has those overpairs in his range which may raise there and cap rather here is QQ till I know a bit more about the guy (I assume then we wouldn't know either what stack he had). So it's impossible to tell you a chart play, it's always and always will be:
