      I really think you were both playing the board there. He reraises turn and then bets river when five to a straight comes, this line is very odd and makes me think he has overpair or set and is just bullshitting you on the river. Of course he could have flush or 88 but getting 2:1 I would make the call.

      I know you`re deep but still you should make the 3BET PF larger to take value.

      On the river i would have probably folded as well because he`s more likely to have 88,A8,K8 or wtf8 because you gave him so good odds to call PF

      his line reps a flush pretty well imo.

      if the flop wasn't three then it would be easier to find a call (not that it would be easy)

      I would make it over 3x the initial raise, maybe about $1.20, especially cos you're super deep and OOP

      It wont really change his calling range but it gets more money in good

      as for postflop I think it's ok. I bet bigger on the flop, not loving the turn call, just cos you have 1 out to the nuts and you'll have to fold the river if you face heavy action, which is gonna be often. I guess 5:1 you have to but it's pretty close for me.

      You definitely cant call the river, metza you're not getting 2:1, you're calling to split so you're calling $10 to win $5

      @germany5590 you want those hands to call but if you 3bet larger you`ll have bigger bets on both flop and turn with witch you`ll get more value out of worst hands and have an easier decision to fold when you`re facing heavy action simply because his range is smaller and stronger

      -i hope that makes sens, and the logic behind it is ok, it's just an opinion

      Hello germany5590,

      Can you post in the Bigstack section the next time as you are very deep and I judge hands that mostly have 40-50 big blinds :)

      But since I have BSS experience I can give you my opinion on your hand;

      I think you have to 3bet bigger preflop just for pure value. The Flop is fine.

      The Turn is a bet/fold for me, you are not going to be ahead often. If he has a Flush you have 7 outs to the 2nd nuts & you are out of position. This means you have to hope he is betting the River when you hit OR is calling you. It is fairly obvious what you have when you lead out on the River namely.

      When you bet/call & check/fold the River, I just want to bet/fold the Turn immediately and save me some EV because on what rivers are you calling & are winning @ Showdown? Not many I think
