Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with J :diamond: J :club:
4 folds, SB raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $1, SB calls $0.70

      Flop: ($2.00) 5 :diamond: T  7  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.20, SB folds

My play is fine, but I wanted to ask what you would suggest doing if villain decided to check/raise in this spot? I guess I would just fold because he can have TT, sometimes even 77, maybe QQ and very rarely, slowplayed AA/KK. Sometimes some FDs as well but I doubt he is doing that with Tx or as a pure bluff even so it's not that we have a lot to hope for since the potential FDs he might hold might even be ahead of us.

      Hello Avatars91,

Most likely he ain't bluffing in those spots, so rather fold it if we really get raised. We don't have that much beat as long the guy is also passive, might even just call with draws.

      Best Regards.

Thus we could even consider folding vs a check/raise with KK-AA? Or can we then assume that he still is capable of playing like that with weaker overpairs?

With KK/AA would be tough, most likely I'd end up playing for the stacks though unless I know more about him than just few stats.

So I assume you'd advise pushing instead of calling because by calling we still give him the opportunity of hitting his FD or even set/A overcard (if we have KK) + if he is check/raising JJ-KK there, he is likely calling a push there anyway?

Yes, but as always may depend and vary.
