Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is UTG with 8 :diamond: 8
Hero raises to $0.30, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.30, 2 folds

      Flop: ($0.75) 6 :spade: 8 :club: 2 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, BTN calls $0.60

      Turn: ($1.95) A :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.60, BTN calls $1.60

      River: ($5.15) K :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $3.00, BTN calls $3

Not sure I like my betsizing here – vs this guy could have been at least ~0.65$ on flop, or at least 1.75$ on turn.

River is actually interesting. Can we consider check/folding there? There likely is only value from Ax hands that might float the flop, very rarely from JJ,TT or random Kx floats + these hands likely check behind anyway (maybe Ax makes a thin valuebet from time to time), of course 22 or 66 is also possible but not likely since villain probably would have raised them at least on the turn.

Thus if we bet, we should at least make it smaller in order not to force out the few hands that we beat – somewhere around ~2.00$.

      What's your take on this?

Flop and turn is standart. On the river I would bet 2,50$ and fold if he raises.

      What BTN had?

      Hello Avatars91,

Don't really get your sizing on the river, from how many worse hands do you get called there? Rather instead Bet something like $2 and Bet/Fold it whilst FD also completes. Only hope is that he is floating with an Ace and hit the turn.

      Best Regards.

Villain had a flush. Surprised he didn't raise :s_confused:

      Anyway, thanks for the evaluation!

      your sizing!

it seems fair enough for him not to raise because you rep pretty strong and he knows he is not being called by worse.

If I remember correctly it was a rather high flush – maybe Q or J high.
I am suprised only because it is a bit hard for me to imagine that there are that many guys on NL10 that wouldn't undervaluate my skill and thus wouldn't just push expecting to get called by AK, lower flushes and sets, that's all :) of course it makes sense for him to call vs me as I am pretty much never calling there with worse.
