Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with Q :club: A :spade:

      Turn: ($4.90) 8 :spade: (2 players)
      Hero bets $2.40, CO folds

I am not too sure my play makes much sense. Since I can probably assume that villain actually is calling with a rather wide range preflop I thought it would make sense to cBet this flop with the added benefit of having a backdoor FD. However, if I do this I probably should consider barreling many turns. Not sure if barreling on this particular turn makes that much sense though, as I don't have a specific read that he is floating me on the flop extremely wide (like A high or something like that). So the only hands that I can hope he would fold there is FDs + MAYBE TT and JJ from time to time. And random floats if there are any in his range.

Could maybe just as well have simply check/folded the flop.

      HI Avatars91,

I'd take the same line planning to barrel J+/clubs. I think our hand is strong enough to be cbetted on the flop.

So you wouldn't really barrel this particular turn card, would you?

Might I beg Veriz to take a look? It's just that we have recently had similar discussions about cBetting in 3Bet pots and I seem to be doing rather terribly at the moment in them, lol.

Nope I would not barrel this turn.

Also don't get me wrong and think that we are betting our entire range on the flop. I just think that our AQ is strong enough for this.

BTW veriz will look at this, I did not mark the hand as judged, I just posted my opinion.

      Hello Avatars91,

Pretty standard, don't really see why I would just CB once here and Check/Fold the turn on a blank. Then rather Check/Fold the flop instead as we have been speaking about. If we go for the fold equity and assuming his floating range is wide there we have an easy 2nd barrel on such a blank.

      Best Regards.
