Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with J :spade: J :diamond:
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, 1 fold, BB calls $0.15

      Flop: ($0.55) A :club: K :spade: 5 :diamond: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($0.55) 7 :diamond: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($0.55) T :diamond: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

I was wondering if there is any chance we could valuebet the river very small, say ~$0.28 or even just $0.20 vs Tx or maybe even PPs?
Villain is not particularly aggressive so doubt he is going to bluff-checkraise (if his bluffcheckraise is small we could maybe even call since he can't represent much – he wouldn't choose this line with Ax, Kx or monsters, I suppose) and we pretty much only have to fear Kx, which he could even sometimes be betting himself.

      Hi,

If you don´t bet flop or turn I think it is just best to check it down. I doubt that 88 would really c/c river and if you don´t feel that you can bet for value on the turn I think you also take same approach on the river (even if you are always ahead then which cards would call your bet). If I would bet then I would make it 0.2$

      best regards,

Veriz, do you think we can consider making a $0.20 valuebet here on the river vs Tx and smaller PPs? Or can he still too often have Kx in that spot?

0.2@ is not wrong valuebet, but you very-very rarely get called by worse hands, so if you take your checkdown line then I think you get more value if you see what hands if he is calling pre-flop and what hands he would check down.

      best regards,

      Hello Avatars91,

Skip the value here rather than Bet it even if you are against such a guy. This guy may easily even end up having there an Ace. And of course not that many worse hands call you either, even for such a guy.

      Best Regards.
