      SB: $12.13 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 18, 3B: 0, AF: 5,5, Hands: 91
      Hero (BB): $10.00 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 19, 3B: 5, AF: 4,7, Hands: 65799
      UTG: $10.15 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 14, 3B: 8, AF: 2,9, Hands: 200
      CO: $17.75 - VPIP: 28, PFR: 5, 3B: 3, AF: 2,1, Hands: 187
      BTN: $11.69 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 17, 3B: 2, AF: 3,3, Hands: 138

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with 8 :spade: 9 :spade:
1 fold, CO raises to $0.20, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.10

      Flop: ($0.45) 9  J  4 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30

      Turn: ($1.05) 8  (2 players)
Hero bets $0.77, CO calls $0.77

      River: ($2.59) A :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.00, Hero calls $1

Well, check/calling the river in this spot is not the worst option ever, especially vs his sizing, because he can still be valuebetting his Ahx hands there, however, I guess we should prefer valuebetting over check/calling since that way we get more value from Jx, Ahx, QQ-KK type of hands, whereas if we check we are only hoping to get value from his missed Ahx 1crd draws, which he may not even always valuebet.

Would ~$1.50 not be too big a valuebet? Should be fine.

      Hello Avatars91,

Either we are betting ourselves the river or I am planning to Check/Fold it instead, there ain't many missed hands which would bluff and very little hope for the Ace to Bet. :)

      Best Regards.

      1) Would you agree with a ~$1.50 valuebet vs Jx, Ahx, QQ-KK? Is it not better than check/folding? Or is it the case that so many draws completed on the turn that we might not even sometimes get value from these hands (although villain seems loose, so he could probably still call despite the scary board) or that he is too often ahead?

      2) After checking the river, would you fold even vs his sizing? It can still sometimes be a bluff, e.g., villain calls with a 1crd FD on the turn and decides to bluff when misses? Although villain's low PFR makes me worried.

Well, as I said above. :) We either Bet/Fold it or we Check/Fold it, you can't really Check/Call cause there ain't even many missed hands in his range.

Well, as said above I wouldn't have myself in that place, I'd either Bet or just Check/Fold it. Though vs the given size should be calling still possible whilst we may time to time see A:hX hands which CB the flop.
