Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BTN with 8  Q :spade:
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, SB calls $0.05, 1 fold

      Flop: ($0.14) 8 :diamond: 7 :spade: K :spade: (2 players)
SB bets $0.09, Hero ? Raise to make 99-QQ and SCs to fold?

His calling range is SCs and pps I think. He could donk with 99-JJ, 56, 9T. These cards should fold to a raise. (I raise preflop, and raise on a K-high board, do they want any more reasons? He is probably in bet/fold mode, Would he ever donk with a set/K-pair? He looks solid, solid players don't donk with monster hands when they will get a CB most of the times, and can ch/raise easily.

      Hi Imimba1,

Fact is your opponent should donk with a range of very strong hands and air here. But I really doubt they know how to do this properly at NL 2.

On the other note people usually do this (until they learn to do better) with medium strength hands like 99-QQ, 8x, weak Kx, some do it with draws.

One simple approach which should work on this stake very well is to raise them all, no matter the size and hand you hold (it's from balugwhale's book).

If it fails then make a note and adjust accordingly, but until you raise him 1 or 2 times you can't really know what he is doing. He can basically be doing anything here.

Hope it makes sense to you.

      Best regards.
