How would you have played this?

after I finishing my session and replaying this hand the river bet doesn't really make any sense as I'm going to only get called by a better hand and when he reraised it's very unlikely he has less than an A or K high flush so I could have got away

my river play was awful tbh......oh well hopefully I won't make the same mistake again

Your opponent had raised preflop therefore a higher flush is indeed not unlikely.

I would have bet something like 6 $ on the turn. If he raised then you can
      fold here.

He didn't actually raise preflop he cold called my 3bet

I agree a bet on the turn could have saved me money but at the time I wanted to induce a bluff on the river by checking behind on the turn

I think the problem with that play is that he sets the bet size and you don't know where your at if he bets the river

If you think a set is paying you off on the turn then bet, but tbh I wouldn't and I would check behind on river for the same reason, your valuebet is way too thin at NL25

I´d bet 7$ on that flop.
Probably then checked down or other option shove on the turn.
Not sure what worse hands would call your river bet.
How often do you think that is bluff? I´d fold river to his all-in.
