This was his first hand at the table.

Flop: Thought I could have cbet with gutshot and backdoor flushdraw? But I took the free card coz the board hit's his range hard and I couldn't stand a check/raise. Any thoughts?

Turn: Hit straight so raise to build pot

River: I don't usually do this, but thought I'd try it out. Jamming it, looking for a call with a set or some other bluffcatcher hand because I might look a bit bluffy as the board doesn't really look too good for my range. What do you think of this river play?

      Hello jules97,

You can easily CB the flop whilst having fold equity + GS yourself. Also which is important to pay attention is that you also have backdoor FD which gives you also equity.

Though as played I'd raise the turn pot size and ship the river.

      Best Regards.
