I sadly just took a look at villain's foldTo3Bet stat, which made me think at the time of play that a 3bet is a very good move in this spot, I did not, however, take into account the fact that his opening range from that particular position seems to be very very nitty. Although, from what I have seen thus far (it is also seen in his stats), he can even fold the hands that he raises from EP and MP, so this is not the worst 3Bet ever (I still prefer folding because there are too many strong hands in his range here).

      As played:

I suppose that once he calls there is no way I can cBet on most, if not almost all boards on which I have missed, since his calling range is pretty strong there and can contain many overpairs. Thus I like my play postflop.

Yes, 3-betting this was a bad idea, IMO.

As played, you should cbet that flop, because if he called with AQ, AJ, even AK, he could fold (he is capable to fold on cbets!!). So, as played, try to fire one barrel and then C/F.

      Hello Avatars91,

Preflop: Against such a nitty range it's not really the best idea to 3bet it here cause you wont really have massive fold equity and overall fold equity isn't going to be correct either of course.

      As played
Postflop: Well, if you are CBetting then being IP you should still CB it as said above that he also has AQ/AK combos in his calling range and we also have some backdoors.

      Best Regards.
