      Turn: ($1.50) A (2 players)

      $1.50 pot ($0.10 rake)

MP showed Q Q and lost (-$0.74 net)
      Hero mucked K K and won $1.40 ($0.66 net)

Should I have reraised him on the flop instead of flat calling? What about my turn and river play. Was checking on the turn right? What about the river? Should I have bet for value? I was afraid he could be slow playing his ace top pair.

      preflop is fine.

postflop... just get it in as soon as possible.
why do you check? just bet/bet/bet, you want value from QQ-JJ (maybe even TT) and not give free cards to AK or random suited broadways which he may have from time to time.

as it went A is the worst card possible on the deck and you don't have any more value there.
