Flop? As he is unknown, I thought I could ch/call once, he could take a stab with air, PPs, but I cant assume, that he would try to bluff multiple street with air, or turn some PP into bluff like that. Or call again on the turn, due to the smaller betsize? My problem was that it still sets up a push by the river, which I cant call.

just bet the Flop yourself and save yourself the trouble. I only check against fishes because they tend to have very imbalanced frequencies which will allow you to play close to perfect against them.

Checking with AX is much better than KK because I will feel more confident in calling down, given that you have an Ace and it's much less likely for him to have one himself.

      Hello pcfmcc02,

      Preflop: 3bet it 3x.
Postflop: Guess both options are fine, if we see him rather being very aggressive then can't really go for Check/Call and instead should be CBetting which may avoid him turning hands into bluff. Though if we do Check/Call then I doubt that I'd Check/Call the turn either but rather planning to Check/Call flop mainly and I'd do the same with Ax hands, especially weaker Ax hands.

      Best Regards.
