      I am sort of not sure if betting here wouldn't be best. I definitely see villain giving up often on this board. However, it is not completely impossible for him to bluffcatch here with some sort of weak midpair such as TT, 99, or 8x.

      So I suppose it depends on villain's checking range here. I certainly wouldn't mind protecting my hand vs overcards but no weaker hand calls me anyway. So maybe just checking it down is indeed best with a hand that has showdown value.
