      you have a flush draw which is 9 outs (9 remaining cards of that suit). You have a gut shot which is 4 outs (4 cards of what ever card you need). But one of those 4 outs is also the suit you need for the flush so you cant count it twice. so you have 12 (9+4-1) outs.
      With two cards remaining you can multiply your number of outs x 4 to get a very close approximation of the percent change of hitting. so with 12 outs, you are about 48% of completing one or both of your draws
