Really wanted to call this guy, but was rather unsure of my self, I was sure he had the Ace, but he was the preflopagressor, could he have AA? :)
      Could be AQ or AK...
Took a shot on turn in hopes of getting a free showdown, Maybe I should have given up turn?
River was so much in doubt that I timed out, but he could easily have hit two cards.
Should I have called his ½-size bet?

My call preflop might have been a mistake as well, but I doubt I'm getting such guy to fold, but well I might be ahead of this type of player?

Raise preflop, bet flop, bet turn and bet river, especially vs a 39/29 guy. He can easily have worse Ax, Qx type of hands.

would check call river with such a loose guy. The eight on the river doesn't change much

      Hi,

I would prefer 3-betting pre-flop. If you take c/r line postflop then you should rather bet yourself on the river (he would very likely shove his two pair hands). If you check then c/c if better option- there are some chance he would try to bluff you our bet himself Ax hands.

      best regards,
