Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      BTN: $74.58 (149.2 bb)
      SB: $87.68 (175.4 bb)
      BB: $49.50 (99 bb)
      Hero (MP): $58.31 (116.6 bb)
      CO: $26.52 (53 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 8 8
Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN calls $1.50, 2 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) 4 9 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.25, BTN calls $2.25

      Turn: ($8.25) J (2 players)
      Hero bets $5, BTN folds

      Anon table.

Against an unknown opponent I cant really ch/call turn and river, so I decided to go for bet/fold turn, ch/fold river line. It's almost sure, that he wont fold better hands to this bet, but he could call sometimes with lower PPs, which he would checkbehind on river, plus I dont get myself into a hazy spot, where I dont know what to do...

      I'm in for ch/call as
      - he won't turn pockets into bluff
      - J doesn't hit his floats

Yeah, it's easier to play it this way but I believe ch/call is more +ev (given he is unknown).

      Hello pcfmcc02,

Seems to be fine both way but if you go for Check/Call mode then there is no way to do it just on the turn and which means we have to plan to Call a lot of rivers, if not all of them. :D

      Best Regards.
