Party, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      MP: $12.70 (127 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $4.18 (41.8 bb)
      UTG: $4.33 (43.3 bb)
      CO: $11.96 (119.6 bb)
      BB: $2.85 (28.5 bb)
      SB: $3.05 (30.5 bb) - VPIP: 13, PFR: 11, 3bet from SB: 6, FoldSBtoSteal: 89, Hands: 2.4k

      Stats on BB

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8 Q
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, SB folds, BB calls $0.15
Both guys are tight, so I'm trying to steal.

      Flop: ($0.55) 2 Q 3 (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks
I think there are plenty of PP in his range so I'm checking as there is probably one street value for me anyway.

      Turn: ($0.55) 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.35, BB calls $0.35
It's time to bet here, as planned.

      River: ($1.25) 9 (2 players)
BB bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50
He donks now, not sure what to think about it. Seems like a blockbet from pairs which want to see cheap showdown. I expect flush to bet more here.

      Results:
      $2.25 pot ($0.11 rake)
      Final Board: 2 Q 3 2 9
      Hero showed 8 Q and won $2.14 ($1.04 net)
BB showed 8 T and lost (-$1.10 net)

      Thanks.

      Hey,
I would bet the Flop to protect my Hand from Flushdraws. On the Turn I do a second barrel, so I can check behind on the River if he checks again.
If he donks its ugly. These donks are very often Hits on the River and they don't want you to check behind. So when the bet is small I call, or when Villain can Bluff here.
