      Hey veriz,

Is this tripple barrel to fishy oppo good?

It's not like fish can't ever fold???

What do I want to make him fold on:
the flop -> Random Ahi's etc.
the turn -> Random floats and PP's. I wouldn't continue on non K/A turn.
the river -> Qx. He has almost always Qx.....

this hand plays awful so i don't really like to iso preflop.

as played his donkbet is interesting. i'd normally just fold, only raising because we have GS equity and that's it, one and done, check behind the turn and hope to hit.
even when you think that his range is capped (it may not even be here) you can't ever know if he will fold it.

Why not continue turn to make him fold PP's and 3x etc? He can EASILY have that... PP's will more likely limpt than Qx I think.

But I can agree with you about check behind river because we can't assume he will fold Qx. We rep indeed a narrow range.

      Position + initiative + skill = $$$

We can discuss about the skill ofcourse :D

i just like to start with the assumption that fish won't fold, that way i overbet shove for like 2xpot with my value hands and they call sometimes. :f_biggrin:

only raising the donkbet because it's super weak and we have some equity. yeah he may have pp (not enough 2x/3x imo) but i feel he has a few sets and enough of Qx hands and then the proportions should not be enough to keep firing.

[edit: about preflop it may still be enough +EV because we may be able to iso/cbet with anytwo and show a profit :D against fish we want playable equity because we will get a showdown more often]

The guy wasn't like a huuuge fish but more like the 28/10 type.

We take the pot down so much with a CB. Ofcourse I should avoid spew like here otr. :(

I agree that pre iso is quite thin. I like the flop raise more, if you've seen him donk/folding before but anyways I think it cant be too bad.

I also dont mind barreling this turn as he should fold all those PP's in his range, but I'm giving up river cause It's pretty much a blank and If he did not fold flop and turn, I doubt his folding to many rivers.

      Hello Farmarchist,

Well, isolation is fine but how you played the hand postflop isn't. :P Shouldn't try to make to fold a fishy player, raising flop is fine but that mainly means FE there or afterwards once called we give up our hand without improving. Why would you want to make a fish to fold who almost never even thinks of folding a Q there.

      Best Regards.
