Villain is 19/13/30 (40), I was planning to check/call turn and check/fold to a decent river bet, but at the same time thinking this play will also induce bets from any overpair thinking I have AK or something, I dunno, I got gut feeling on river that he has A8s or 88, really disappointed I couldn't fold here, but I tanked and was like "he'd also do this with any overpair" and that there are more overpair combos than A8/88 combos.

Should I have gone with my gut and folded? As you can see from my crappy passive line I kinda knew I was beat, I think bet/fold turn and check/fold river is much better, I don't know what I was thinking.

Also shoulda bet bigger on flop, right?

      Hello metza,

Doesn't really make sense to go for Check/Call line on the turn whilst a lot of hands have you beat, if we Check then rather Check/Fold it and which you should have done instead of playing like you did, you don't have that much beat.

      Best Regards.
