Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is UTG with Q  K :spade:
Hero raises to $0.08, CO calls $0.08, BTN calls $0.08, 2 folds

      Flop: ($0.27) J :club: T :club: Q :club: (3 players)
Hero bets $0.18, CO calls $0.18, BTN folds

      Turn: ($0.63) J :diamond: (2 players)
Hero ? Hard to put villain on a range. Can we exclude AA-TT? He would 3bet them preflop. Or sample size is simply too small...

      Hello Imimba1,

Vs such a guy you can never be sure what's his calling range there. Therefore just Bet/Fold the turn for like 40 cents and plan to Check/Fold most likely the river.

      Best Regards.

If we bet the turn for value, then why do we ch/f river?

But why, just because we can't put him on a range?
If we bet the turn for value, and then check/fold river, isnt that kind of inconsistent?

(E.g. I isolate with KT, and on a Kx board I don't valuebet, then why did I isolate in the first place? Inconsistent)

Cause if we can't put him on a correct range then the guy may easily end up even having draws there and of course weaker pairs at the same time.
