      first of all, hello and welcome to the pokerstrategy forums! we hope that you enjoy your stay and find the content useful. :spade:

      as a beginner, you should only raise this preflop when you're confident enough on your postflop play.
      with 99 you're going to see overcards on the flop about 80% of the time, which obviously means that you'll be in marginal spots very often.

      on the flop betting is good, but you shouldn't bet over the pot as then you are scaring a whole lot of weaker hands.
      since it's a limped pot betting the pot ($0.07) should be fine to protect against overcards and high cards.

      turn and river are good, he probably won't be calling a river bet with a lot worse hands.

      [informative edit: a more useful number is the % that there are overcards on the flop AND you don't hit three-of-a-kind. that's about 72% of the time for 99, which is not a very great number either]
