      Hey guys,

I am a 22 year old belgian dude ...I took a sabbatical year of to go to Australia, Costa Rica, Germany and France...In this way i hope to be fluent in Enlish, spanish, german and french. Right now i am in Costa Rica for 3 months...I ve got 4 days school but i have a lot of spare time to play poker...So i will be playing a ton of volume...

I have been playing poker for some years now, but i never took it serious...2 years ago i made my first deposit on Full tilt...Didn't take to long to lose it all...Then a couple of times on pokerstars...

I seemed to be playing good for some time, i would grind it up to 500 a 600$ by playing 5,10nl 6max, and then i would lose it all in a week...Being on total TILT..

So i made another deposit, but this time i promised myself i would study and lear about the game, controll tilt, read......the entire thing.

So said so done...i made a 50$ deposit and ran it up till 1K by plaing 5,10 and at the end 25nl 6max...

I will also be playing Live Low Stakes NL in casino's in Costa rica...But i will put up another bankroll for that...

GOAL: My goal is to be a winning 100nl, 200nl 6max reg

So from now on i am gone post graphs, hands....sessionreviews after evry session....

      thx

      Welcome to blogs bouchapipe!

So, have you got some control over that tilt problem then, it does seem that way given your rise up the stakes?

So good luck in you poker journey, but if you need help with tilt or anything else you know where we are, ok?

      Very best regards,

      Mal.

I lost 250$ in 35 min playing 25nl...So i am still quite a big victim of tilt...

But i excluded myself from pokerstars for 7 days. In this way i could calm down and learn more (watch video's read a bit)...

Played two small sessions this afternoon...happy about the result...
But there was one hand i played really bad...Not even worth posting...Just played stupid.

      +57.05 $

PS: how can i post a graph so you can see it right away on the page???
I mean, not by posting the link?

      thx

      hello bouchapipe, welcome to bloging!

Problem with your image link is that you paste it twice and also it seems that this is the wrong pic link?

easiest way to do it is:

      To post your graph
      1. right click on it and save the image somewhere in your computer
      2. upload to a free image hosting service (like imgur.com, imageshack.com, etc.)
      3. in that image hosting service, copy the link which says for posting in forums
      4. paste in our message box
      5. voila!

      To post images
      1. save the image somewhere in you computer
      2. upload to a free image hosting service (like imgur.com, imageshack.com, etc.)
      3. in that image hosting service, copy the link which says for posting in forums
      4. paste in our message box

      hey guys,

These are the results for my session of today...i am pretty happy about the way i played.

      Playing 25nl 6max

      +38.58$

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      BB:
      $21.27
      MP2:
      $58.23
      MP3:
      $28.10
      CO:
      $14.79
      BU (Hero):
      $25.75
      SB:
      $23.02

Preflop: Hero is BU with 9, T.
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, SB calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50.

      Flop: ($2.25) K, Q, A (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $1.75, SB calls $1.75, BB calls $1.75.

      Turn: ($7.5) 2 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks.

      River: ($7.5) 8 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $5.75, SB raises to $20.52(All-In), BB folds, Hero folds, SB gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $13.25.

      Villain is 38/27/4.2 (100h)
      villain is 28/16/2.3 (118h)

I raise from the button, cause i like my hand IP...i don't feel like i am gone get 3 bet.

Flop: a gutter and a flush draw...so i am pretty happy about my hand... Normal Cbet

Turn: after both villains call i don't see the use in betting again on the Turn, i am never gonne be able to make them both fold...
I put them on a hand like Ax, Kx, Qx...

      So i check back.

River: They both check back to me... I never expect them to have a strong hand... 2 Pair or sets would have at least shown some agression... Busted draws are just gone give up... And i don't see them call a big River bet with A8...

So i bet big on the river...I know i ain't representing anything, but they can't have anything worth calling...at least that's my assumption...

You don't have to bet big to bluff if you think they have some weak hands like low-mid pocket pairs. Like half pot or a bit less than that.

But more often then not, with 2 callers, 1 of them most prob have some random Qx or Kx that will call your bluff.

So just a smaller bluff to fold out the 2x, 8x FDs or lower PPs.

Overall, an obv fold to any river raise like you did cause of the 2pairs slowplayed stuff. Hope this helps! =)

      hey guys,

Do you get the feeling, where you will be playing for 30 min be up 1.5-2 buy ins and feel like, if i play longer i will lose it back again? I don't want to play any longer, cause i don't want to lose the money i already made...

Ive got this feeling all the time...while i still play my standard game...

On the other hand, when i am losing... i will play on and on till i get my money back...Most of the time i set myself a limit of BI to lose..But from time to time it happens that ill be down 10 BI at the end of the night....

While i have never won more than 3BI at 25nl in one session...

I feel like i am not able to play for 10 hours with small breaks...

Is this strange??? How would i be able to be more relaxed and confident??

      hey guys,

this is the graph of my session of today... I wasn't to happy about certain plays...spots where i think i played to passive...

Here are a couple of hands that i think are quite interesting...

      villain: 19/13/3.5/ AF 1.6 (195h)
      FCB:0 (6) FCB in 3Bpot 0 (1)

Do you check back this flop and go for a delayed Turn bet?

      Final Pot: $7.41.

      villain: 21/13/ AF 1.9 (243 h)

He hasn't check raised so far...
with what does he check raise? 77, 33, flushdraws...

I call the flop to see what he would do on a non club turn...he bets 3/4 pot...i don't think he would bet this much with a flushdraw...so i put him on a set....

      what do you think???

      Final Pot: $10.95.

      villain:19/11/ AF:0.7 (77h)

      Preflop: pretty standard i think

Flop: Standard Cbet... When he raises i put him on a strong hand or a bluff...more strong hands then bluffs, cause of his AF: 0.7... (no 56s though, he is to tight for that)

Turn: check the turn, cause when he has a strong hand the money will go in. If he bluffs he'll bet again to get me of my hand...
I check raise to get more money in the pot...

what do you think about :

      - calling his turn bet and donking big on the River?
He might check back his overpairs, cause he has showdownvalue, but isn't to sure after me calling... If he has a set the money is going in anyway

      - calling his turn bet and check/raise the river in the hope he ll bet again with a strong hand or a bluff...

This is the graph from today....haven't been playing for a couple of days due to the fact that i was on a small holiday.

      +27.38$

In the beginning i ran pretty bad... Nothing i could do about it though...

      BU shows a full-house, fives full of twos(5 4).

BU wins with a full-house, fives full of twos(5 4).

Then i played something really studid...thought the guy was bluffing...i don't know what i was thinking...

Happens from time to time though.... Trying to fix it.

      Then this hand came up...

      Villain stats VPIP:22 PFR:15 3B:20 (hands 28)
I know the sample is really small, what would you have done?

Hand1: 100bb deep this is a fistpump shove all day long. Why do you call his 4bet oop? Just ship it it. Standard.
      Hand2: wtf
Hand3: If you think he is light here you can 4bet/get it in. But 4bet bigger. I would 4bet to something like 7,50. But if you don't have any reads then I think a fold preflop is also ok. This hand plays terrible in 3bet pots oop.

      hey guys,

This is the second part of today's session...This time i didn't play so good...

It seems to me that, when i am winning i play for a shorter time then when i am losing. It happens from time to time that ill be down 2 BI and then i am able to build it up again to a descent profit.

It sucks...i play a couple of session to make a descent win and then i lose it all in one session....

feeling a bit depressed right now...

Planning on watching the video's about leakfinders... hope this helps a bit...i am not gone play for the next 2 days....studying instead

      hey guys,

This time i actually did what i said i was going to do :p
Watched some videos of BogdanPs about stats, notetaking...

      Loved his videos.

Made a ton of notes today, played lesser tables(3) and observed my game...It seems more boring, but taking good notes at the same time takes a bit of time, so....you are busy

      BU shows a full-house, tens full of sixes(T T).

BU wins with a full-house, tens full of sixes(T T).

I think i played this hand perfect...

OTF: He played to passive to raise w/ his draws, so i putted him on an overpair.

OTT: i check back to induce a bet.

OTR: The flush hits on the river, but i didn't think he had a flushdraw cause he played so passive, so i make a small VB...

      Do you like my rivercall???

      why, why not???

      hey guys,

      My session from yesterday...

Played pretty good in the beginning, but got unlucky in a ton of pots...started to tilt, made a lot of stupid calls...but came out on top at the end...

I am going to review my entire session though...ill upload some hands
