      Hi there,

Predraw - it may sound nitty, but - I'd just fold this. 8743 even though will not make straights, will never make a better hand than 87, and even against a wide range being OOP and having a hand that will never be smooth is just burning money on fire. Maybe if you have the postdraw skills of some HS regular, you can play it, but I assume it's not the case, and as a beginner, you will just struggle to ever make a profit by this hand.

The flop decision is quite interesting, since the guy didn't cap pre, and then stood pat, it just screams weakness. However, since this guy is a weaker player for sure, I'm not certain what he perceives as weak, therefore - if he's a tighter passive player - you might be drawing to 3-6 outs here, suffering from massive RIO, but honestly, I wouldn't be able to fold the hand just yet, but it's definitely close. Once again, you draw to at best an 87.

      Rest is super-standard.
