      Hero ($42.56)

      Dealt to Hero 9:club: 9:spade:

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.75, SB raises to $2.50, fold, Hero calls $1.75

      FLOP ($5.25) 7:spade: 8:diamond: 8:club:

SB bets $3.74, Hero calls $3.74

      TURN ($12.73) 7:spade: 8:diamond: 8:club: J:diamond:

      SB bets $7.75, Hero folds

      SB wins $12.10

SB was kind of reggy, I had no reads or stats because it was fastforward but he had a pretty ABC style

I'm a bit lost in these spots with mid pairs when the flop is low. Is it ok to just float and give up like this? Seems super exploitable

      Hello bradomurder,

Might even lay down the flop already whilst his CB is also stronger. Though I wouldn't say floating is wrong cause he may still CB with even worse hands and just overcards. Only problem is that the guy could easily go for 2nd barrel and then it's going to be marginal to call-down.

      Best Regards.
