So I'm reading this forum, (specifically this thread People Backfiring ) and as I go to click somewhere in my browser window, one of my stars table windows popped up, with the minimum "raise" button directly under my cursor just as I clicked.

Uh oh.. what hand did I just raise?

This is how it played out. I really need to be more careful when playing with my table windows under my browser. Normally I have the browser on another monitor.

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players

      UTG+2: $10

      CO: $24
      Hero (BTN): $5.35
      SB: $11.35
      BB: $25.50
      UTG: $14.95
      UTG+1: $15.80

      Pre-Flop: Q:diamond: 6:heart: dealt to Hero (BTN)
      UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.25, MP1 calls $0.25

      Flop: ($1.85) 8:diamond: K:heart: 5:heart: (3 Players)
UTG checks, MP1 checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($1.85) 7:heart: (3 Players)
UTG checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $4.85 and is All-In, 2 folds

      Results: $1.85 Pot ($0.05 Rake)
      Hero mucked Q:diamond: 6:heart: and WON $1.80 (+$1.30 NET)

Not overly impressive or anything, but that could have been much worse. Turn brought me lots of outs with the open ended straight draw and the flush draw.

check behind or at least bet normal.
your equity would be miserable when called -> drawing dead likely
