      OK, so villain's playing 50/6/2.3(agg)/6.4(3bet): 750 hands

No specific betting reads, he was playing a bit odd: called KK in the blinds then check called a dry board down to win a small pot.

      Did I over think this?

Pre: I'm sat on their right on two tables. They had been 3betting v me heavily the last few orbits. Decided to defend 5s. Odds for set mining not too bad, plus felt I could tkae down some low flops.

      River's the interesting bit:

So, given a three bet range of TT+, AJs+, AQo+, and in the face of the big bet, I just couldn't think what I beat. Discounting TTc JJc as unlikely raisers, AJc / AQc were the only two hands I beat, and I thought they'd have probably cbet the flop (74% cbet flop).

So AA, KK, AK feel more like they would have taken this line.

IPoker, $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players

      BB: $5.83 (145.8 bb)
      Hero (CO): $5.19 (129.8 bb)
      BTN: $4.99 (124.8 bb)
      SB: $3.88 (97 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5 5
Hero raises to $0.12, BTN raises to $0.28, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.16

      Flop: ($0.62) 5 A 6 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($0.62) A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.46, BTN calls $0.46

      River: ($1.54) K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.77, BTN raises to $2.88, Hero folds

      $3.08 pot ($0.20 rake)
      Final Board: 5 A 6 A K
Hero mucked 5 5 and lost (-$1.51 net)
BTN mucked and won $2.88 ($1.37 net)

      Hello httpeter,

Bet the turn & river bigger for value. Though as played kinda close on the river whilst the only hand we might see is Q but not sure how man of them he will have. So folding is totally fine there if you assume his range rather being nutted hand. W$SD could also tell us how the guy is playing.

      Best Regards.
