Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      MP: $54.73 (109.5 bb)
      Hero (CO): $50.02 (100 bb)
      BTN: $49.30 (98.6 bb)
      SB: $50 (100 bb)
      BB: $73.81 (147.6 bb)
      UTG: $92.09 (184.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, SB calls $1.25, BB folds

      Flop: ($5) 6 Q 3 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.50, BTN calls $3.50, SB folds

      Turn: ($12) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $7.50, BTN calls $7.50

      River: ($27) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $36.80 and is all-in, Hero folds

      Anon table.

BTN is a big fish. My plan was to bet/fold flop and turn, blockbet/fold (or ch/fold) river, if flush hits, and ch/call river if flushdraw miss. But after this huge riverbet I made up my mind, and folded... Would be better to blockbet even though flushdraw didnt got there, to avoid this situation with a huge bet?

      Hello pcfmcc02,

Well, the guy can't represent either that much with his shove. :P Maybe at the best AQ would play this way so he is capping his range there very hard. Whilst enough of FDs missed, so I might even plan to Check/Call it if I am going for such a line. It's more likely that if he wants to bluff then he is going to shove it and with weak Qx he bets smaller.

Though could Bet/Fold the river instead if you have hard time calling such shoves or not knowing what to do. Cause he may still have worse Qx and even PPs which may Call you down.

      Best Regards.

If betting, what would be your sizing? ~10$?

Yep, 10 is enough not too huge, not too small.
