      Hello Tomaloc,

What's your plan there? :) What do you think he is raising you with (keep in mind the size)? Does our hand change anything by which I mean does it make any different whatever AK we have?

      Best Regards.

JJ, 22, fd for free card sometimes but either way we are screwed being oop
      [edit: forgot KJ, whatever]

i mean, the plan is folding but it's just that this has been happening so much these days that i need some reassurance so that i can continue to grind mindlessly for the 3 next days :f_biggrin:

Well, he could have pretty wide range there and whilst we also have some backdoors we actually can easily Call the flop and reevaluate the turn. Our hand is still strong enough to do that and to put villain mainly on nutted hand might be too much off. :P We have decent equity with our backdoor FD.

      this was what actually happened:

      Flop: ($2.03, 2 players) K:heart: J:club: 2:club:
Hero bets $1.51, UTG+2 raises to $3.02, Hero calls $1.51

      Turn: ($8.07, 2 players) 3:spade:
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $4.89, fold

      UTG+2 wins $7.71

then i felt stupid for calling the flop, my mind went something like "what was i hoping for? that he gives up?" :f_biggrin:

Well, you gave up most likely the best hand, do you really think he has such a sizing for his strong hands? Rather looks like barreling his draw there this way.

But what is he having there what doesn't want to protect his strong hand? :P
