The option of Raising should always be at the back of your mind. I think while Ace high may be good, small bets usually indicate weak pairs. So he would have 9X or 3X quite a lot.

You have the Ace of diamond, so you can consider checkraise Flop or even checkraise Turn and pot River if you think opponent is capable of laying down some pairs. You can represent the Flush.

This guy is 38/6 though. probably indicative of being loose and passive. You need to check out his WTSD stat. If he has a lower WTSD then I would try to bluff him off.

As played I don't expect to be good all that often, but pot odds are really good. Call and make use of the info in future about his tendencies.

      Hi,

I think 3-bet should be one good option pre-flop that would make your hand easier to play. Postflop I would c/r always that minbet, since it is just very often air or marginal hand that would most likely fold to flop c/r or turn bet. Also I think it is quite good board leading yourself, since I don´t think it is profitable calling for example 0.1$ bet

      best regards,

Even if I min3bet, the pot becomes 30c, and villain has 81c behind. If we dont hit, we wont be able to bluff imo with this stack to pot ratio. But if we hit, we will be able. The problem is, that we miss most of the times. Do we want to bluff against a shortstacker out of position?

      Hello Imimba1,

If we 3bet then we clearly doing it for value so means also planning to go broke. No way I am Raise/Folding there. Vs his stack though I might even do it whilst we don't even have a sample to analyze his PFR.

Otherwise seems to be fine as long we are also getting pretty decent odds and most likely the guy is willing to pay us off.

      Best Regards.
