      I tried to be a bit tricky here, I seem to not get paid often on my sets against a lot of regish type players. I think they're folding too much to flop check/raise's so hence the minrasise against his halfpot cbet.

      Honestly, the river check was me running out of time deciding what to do.

      Although I think now checking is fine. He will always bet with worse and if he checks behind, he probably isn't going to call a bet anyway.

      I don't know about checking the river there... i mean, can you see him betting out there with a J, after you x/r flop bet 2/3 turn? would you bet there in his place a J?What else does he have that he is willing to bet after you check on the river?QQ?KK?... it's very unlikely that he`s got air, and no was the guy is opening mp with J9.

      In this spot it worked out well for you, but i think that after the way the hand was played the only hands that will be willing to stick it in on the river are JJ and 99. So i would prefer betting out to get max value out of Jx.

      Really don't like the x/r sizing... Know your trying to keep him involved. But making it so small makes it hard to play for stacks. On the river you have $8 in a $5 pot.

      I'd still make it at least $0.9

      Check/Raise bigger on the flop, Bet the turn and ship the river, so easy is poker. :D
