Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      SB: $26.88 (53.8 bb)
      BB: $53.41 (106.8 bb)
      MP: $27.87 (55.7 bb)
      Hero (CO): $50 (100 bb)
      BTN: $106.88 (213.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8 8
MP folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, SB calls $1.25, BB folds

      Flop: ($5) 9 2 7 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, BTN calls $3, SB folds

      Turn: ($11) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $7, BTN raises to $14, Hero folds

      Anon table.

Flop cbet 3way? Only sets, overpairs (not that likely) and 9x beat me, but they could call me with worse.
After getting called 3way on the flop, rather ch/fold turn? My plan was to bet/fold turn, ch/fold river, but maybe that's too thin...

      Hello pcfmcc02,

Nah, seems to be fine. Like your play. Though on dry boards you can go for smaller bets (flop is good, though turn a bit smaller like $6 is good enough -> usually the rake is excluded so it's even smaller pot than 11).

      Best Regards.
