      Hello pcfmcc02,

      Raising flop could be possible to do it for protection. Though your way ahead/behind line is also fine and we ain't able to Call such a river.

      What's your plan if he 3bets you on the flop after your raise?

      My first thought was to get it in, but donkbet/3bet wont be light ever, so I'll be behind his range, so should fold. That way I would be raise/folding my overpair, which doesnt sound too good, so yeah, just calling flop would be better... :)

      Yep, correct. That's very often going to happen that he ends up with a trap there. If he really wanted to gain fold equity we would very often people going for Check/Raise line instead.
