      if there's any indication that he's a reg and is not overly nitty, knows how to resteal from blinds, JJ becomes a standard 4bet. I assume NL4 games are way more passive so calling is fine too.

      I'm not set mining here. JJ just has a lot of showdown value against anyone who 3bets preflop with any sort of bluff range.

      I don't see any reason not to bet the Flop with JJ unless you think he checkraises a lot.

      Hello xero100,

      Bet the flop already yourself to protect your hand. Once he Checks it's very likely that he is giving up his hand and even if goes into Check/Raise then it's rather a trappy type of hand.
